Parties & EXP Share
General Info
A Party in Trickster is a group of two or more characters that join together for various reasons. The most common reason people party is for an EXP and TM boost, to do Monster Party Quests which net more experience/better rewards than doing solo Monster Quests, or powerleveling characters.
They can also be helpful when attempting to beat powerful enemies, because it allows all people in the party to attack the same monster together, as well as having the option to pick up the loot dropped from an enemy your team-mate defeated. This means that anyone in the party can pick up the loot a monster drops. A scenario where this could be useful could be attempting to beat Kaboom for the Growth Badge required for 2nd job advancement.
Note: There is an option to turn off this feature.
The minimum number of people that can be in a party is 2, and the maximum number is 6. Depending on the number, level, type and gender of the party members, you will gain different EXP and TM Boosts, so a good strategy is to review the different types of parties and coordinate to create parties that maximize the experience you get.
Some people purposely make multiple accounts in order to have certain characters on each account, so they can multi-client and make a Royal or Special party, which provide the best boosts to EXP and TM. Not only does this allow for faster levelling, but can also be used to powerlevel other people's characters efficiently instead of having to find other people with the characters you need.
Tip: A cool feature of being in parties is that you can right-click on the avatar of someone in your party, and choose to follow them! As long as the person you're following doesn't get too ahead of you (such as if you get stuck behind something) you will follow this person across the map, and even follows them through portals! This is great when you're multi-clienting, you can just set all your alts to follow your main instead of moving them one by one!
How To Make or Join A Party

There are two ways to make or join a party:
The first way to make a party is by inviting a person to the party directly. You do this by right-clicking on the person's character, and selecting Party Request. The person will get a notification, which tells them a little bit about the party: The average level, the party type, the amount of members, EXP Share, and Item Share settings. It gives them the choice of accepting or rejecting the party request. If you attempt to invite a person to a party when they are already in a party (and you are not), it will create an application that is sent to the Party Chief, who will receive a summary of your character and can choose to accept or reject your application. If both characters are in separate parties, it will be rejected.

The second way to make or join a party is by making a post on the Party Bulletin Board. You can access this by selecting Party at the bottom of the screen, or by pressing P. In the Party Bulletin Board you can create a listing for a party, and people viewing the Party Bulletin Board can see your listing. If they are interested in joining your party, they will click on it, and send you an application. You can also join a party through this Bulletin Board as well by clicking on the listing, and an application will be sent to the Party Chief. A neat feature of the Party Bulletin Board is that you can also make a comment when you make the listing/see other people's comments. This can be used to provide more information on the desire of the party- whether it be for grinding in a certain location, to make a Royal party, etc.
When you are attempting to start or join a party, but the application is still under review by the Party Chief/person you are trying to recruit, you will not be able to send any more party requests unless you cancel the request.
When you create a party, you will become the Party Chief, which allows you to make certain edits to the party system, as well as kicking other players in the party, or making one of them the Party Chief.
Please Note: As everyone is able to see the listings on the Party Bulletin Board, sometimes people use it for advertising. These people are not looking to join a party, but are usually trying to sell or buy certain items, recruit members for guilds, advertise powerleveling, etc. Usually this will be indicated in the comment.
Types of Parties
There are a few different types of parties that you can make in Trickster Online. Depending on the type of party that you're in, you will get a different amount of EXP and TM percentage boosts. As a general rule, the more members in your party, the higher the EXP and TM boosts you get. (Unless you are in a Fixed party).
Party types change automatically when the requirements are met.
Normal Party

A Normal party is a party that does not fulfill any of the requirements for other parties. This means that in this party, there are no characters under level 30. If there are 4 members and above, not all classes (Power, Magic, Sense, Charm) and present, not all of the characters are boy/girl, and everyone is not the same class. It is the default party. The Normal party has the worst EXP and TM boosts out of all the parties, except for Fixed parties.
Beginner Party

A Beginner party is a party that has at least one member that is at level 30, or below. (And does not have a member gap of 100 or more, where it would become a Fixed party). The Beginner party has better boosts than Normal or Type (at 4 members) parties, but are limited in that one member must be at level 30, or below. Since you can only have a 100 level difference between the Party Chief you can only use it for so long, and the Royal and Special party types give much better boosts. (Type parties also give better boosts past 4 members).
Note: You cannot change EXP Share in a Beginner Party. It is locked as No EXP Share.
Type Party

A Type party is a party that consists of four or more characters of the same type with all characters above level 30, so for example a Type party would consist of only Power users and so on. It has better EXP and TM boosts than Normal and Beginner (past 4 members) parties, but gives less EXP and TM boosts than Royal or Special parties.
Royal Party

A Royal party is a party that consists of four or more characters with at least one character from each class (Power, Magic, Sense, and Charm) and with all characters above level 30. It does not matter if there are multiples in the same class, so long as it has a character from each class. Royal parties and Special party's EXP and TM boosts are equal, and both give the most powerful EXP and TM boosts that you can get in parties.
Note: This party cannot have all girls/all boys even if they contain a member from each class; in that case it would become a Special party which has the same EXP and TM boosts anyway.
Special Party

A Special party is a party that consists of four or more characters composed of only girl or only boy characters with all characters above level 30. If even one girl joins an all boy party (or vice versa) the party will no longer be a Special party, and will automatically change to a Normal or Royal party depending on what requirements the party now meets. Royal parties and Special party's EXP and TM boosts are equal, and both give the most powerful EXP and TM boosts that you can get in parties.
Fixed Party

A Fixed party is any party where a person in the party has a more than 100 level difference to the Party Chief. If the Party Chief is level 31, and someone joins with a level 132 the party will automatically become a Fixed party. You receive no EXP or TM boosts from a fixed party, and it does not allow Exp sharing. This overrides the Beginner party.
For the most part, there is no point to being in a Fixed party as it provides no boosts, and without Exp sharing you wouldn't be able to powerlevel characters, either.
Party Multipliers
| Members | Normal Party | Beginner Party | Type Party | Royal Party | Special Party | Fixed Party |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2 | EXP: +20x TM: +20x | EXP: +30x TM: +30x | EXP: +20x TM: +20x | EXP: +30x TM: +50x | EXP: +30x TM: +50x | None |
| 3 | EXP: +30x TM: +30x | EXP: +40x TM: +50x | EXP: +40x TM: +40x | EXP: +50x TM: +50x | EXP: +50x TM: +50x | None |
| 4 | EXP: +30x TM: +30x | EXP: +40x TM: +50x | EXP: +40x TM: +40x | EXP: +50x TM: +50x | EXP: +50x TM: +50x | None |
| 5 | EXP: +40x TM: +50x | EXP: +60x TM: +80x | EXP: +70x TM: +100x | EXP: +100x TM: +150x | EXP: +100x TM: +150x | None |
| 6 | EXP: +50x TM: +80x | EXP: +80x TM: +100x | EXP: +100x TM: +150x | EXP: +150x TM: +200x | EXP: +150x TM: +200x | None |
Please note: In order to make use of the EXP and TM Boosts you will get in parties, the characters must be in the same map. This means you can't make a Royal party with all members aside from you sitting in a Town map if you want the boosts. If you're in a Royal party with 6 members, but only 4 of the members in the party are in the same map as you, the boost will be applied as if there was only 4 characters in the party. In a Royal party consisting of 6 members with only 4 on the same map as you, you would end up getting a +50x EXP and +50x TM boost. This is why although you cannot make a Type, Royal or Special party without 4 characters, there are boosts for 2-3 members.
Party Settings

As a Party Chief, you will also be edit the settings of the party. If you are not the Party Chief, you will not be able to change this. To view this screen, select Party at the bottom of the screen, or press P. Then click on Setting Information.
Things you can change:
- Deny Request: Other people will not be able to join your party through requesting.
- Change Chief: Choose who will become Party Chief out of those in your party.
- Change Name: Change the name of your party.
- EXP Share: You can determine how much experience is shared in the party. For example, if the EXP Share is 25%, when you kill a monster 25% of that EXP will go to the other member. People generally turn this feature to NO, unless powerleveling. This allows you to get the boosts from being in the party while keeping all of your EXP. EQ means the EXP will be equal among members. Level means it's calculated based on the level of characters in your party, with higher levelled characters earning more. Manual allows you to set the amount with some constraints.
- Item Share: Change whether people in your party can pick up other party member's loot or not. COM will allow you to allow it communally across the party, whereas INDI makes item drops individual per party member, as if you were not in a party.
Cancelling, Leaving or Kicking Someone From a Party

If you aren't satisfied with the party that you are in for any reason, you don't have to stay in it!
If you are the Party Chief, you can choose to kick people you don't want in your party. You can do this by right-clicking the avatar of the person you want to remove, or you can go into the Party tab and select the Del button and click on the character or their avatar. If you're a Party Chief who wants to cancel the party, you can go into the Party tab and select the Clr button.
If you aren't the Party Chief, unfortunately you can't kick people or cancel the party (sad, right?). Instead you can go to the Party tab and select Quit the Party.
