General Info

A Party in Trickster is a group of two or more characters that join together for various reasons. The most common reason people party is for an EXP Boost, or to do Monster Party Quests which net more experience than doing solo Monster Quests. They can also be helpful when attempting to beat powerful enemies, because it allows all people in the party to attack the same monster together, as well as having the option to share loot. This means that anyone in the party can pick up the loot a monster drops. The minimum number of people that can be in a party is 2, and the maximum number is 6. Depending on the number, level, type and gender of the party members, you will gain different EXP and TM Boosts, so a good strategy is to create parties that maximize the experience you get.

How To Make or Join A Party

There are two ways to make or join a party:

The first way to make a party is by inviting a person to the party directly. You do this by right-clicking on the person's character, and selecting Party Request. The person will get a notification, which tells them a little bit about the party: The average level, the party type, the amount of members, EXP Share, and Item Share settings. It gives them the choice of accepting or rejecting the party request. If you attempt to invite a person into a party when they are already in a party (and you are not), it will create an application that is sent to the Party Chief, who will receive a summary of your character and can choose to accept or reject your application. If both characters are in separate parties, it will be rejected.

The second way to make or join a party is by making a post on the Party Bulletin Board. You can access this by selecting Party at the bottom of the screen, or by pressing P. In the Party Bulletin Board you can create a listing for a party, and people viewing the Party Bulletin Board can see your listing. If they are interested in joining your party, they will click on it, and send you an application. You can also join a party through this Bulletin Board as well by clicking on the listing, and an application will be sent to the Party Chief.

Please Note: As everyone is able to see the listings on the Party Bulletin Board, sometimes people use it for advertising. These people are not looking to join a party, but are usually trying to sell or buy certain items.
