Basic Info

- Quests are an easy way to level in this game

- You probably have completed at least one quest by the time you opened this (the tutorial)

- Quests mostly grant XP or TM, however some do not and only reward you with a third option

- You can accept a quest by talking to the associated NPC, assuming you have completed any necessary prerequisites

- There are 6 types of quests: Normal (not divided but there are several types), Monster (Mon), Party, Episode (Story), 3rd Job, and Key

- You can see details of any quest you have accepted in the Quest Log

- Unlike other servers, there is no (known) limit to the amount of Normal, Story, or Key quests you can accept!

Quest Log

Quest Log Screen when you press Q

- Press Q

- You can see the number of cycles and the cycle you are at with the number next to the Quest View (+) and Cancel (X) buttons

- Some quests say X/99, these are generally unlimited quests that can be done indefinitely (report them if you can't!)

- Click on the name (yellow part NOT THE X) to view the information on the specific quest

- You can see the NPC, where the NPC is located, a description of what you need to do, the reward for THAT CYCLE ONLY (including XP and TM), and a brief of the chatlog you had with the NPC on the right

- You can see more of the chat log (if it's there) using the pink arrow on the right

- You can view COMPLETED quests (General Quest Record) by pressing View at the bottom of the Quest Window for that specific type of quest (change tabs to see the different ones), which shows the number of cycles completed and all the quests you have completed. Use this along with the wiki to troubleshoot if you are stuck on a questline!

- You can add or remove quests from your Quest View window by clicking on the + icon that is Blue when it is on your Quest View, and Yellow when it is not

- You can get rid of a quest by clicking the yellow Cancel button (X), but you will have to talk to the associated NPC again at the same location to retrieve said quest again (you will be on the same cycle you left off at, don't worry!)
