General Info

Obviously, every server needs some way to farm money. In this server, it is primarily through active play and huntables. AFK Drilling in the Mines and killing shadow monsters are not efficient methods, unlike other servers. Instead, galder drops have been buffed in several areas.

Buffed Farming Areas:

Most “Path to….”s have increased spawns and galder drops.

Buffed Farming Areas
Path to Desert Beach Path to Caballa Relics Path to Phantom School Path to Ghost Blue 1 and 2
Path to Black Swamp Path to Snow Hill Path to Techichi 1 and 2 Tapasco Field 1

Methods

When you first start:

  • Dailies are a good way to get your first few checks for 2nd job! You can do the dailies in Paradise, Azteca, and Mermaid Palace to obtain both a daily coupon and a 100k galder check.
  • Paradise: 1 Sleeping Sock from Punisher Cannon Shell ; NPC: Monkey_T
  • Azteca: 1 Staff of Purification from Punisher Aposis ; NPC: Pharaoh Boy
  • Mermaid Field 4: 2 Executioner’s Gills from Punisher Merman Ale ; NPC: Entertainer Elicia

Recommendation:

  • There’s two avenues you can pick for easy galder grind at a high level, which is CT 62 or Tap 1 at max level. I prefer CT since you just have to pick up the galder and not worry about the items, but lower galder rate (~8mil/hr). Some people prefer Tap 1 due to the items’ additional value and a higher galder rate (10-15mil/hr).
  • Grinding galder for 3rd job might be easier at Path to Ghost Blue 1 and 2, Path to Black Swamp or Path to Snow Hill, depending on how you are geared.
  • If you do not like to keep grinding out on the same map, try to fill a server niche with demand for things, such as exchange items for Ari’s Exchange, skill mastery cards, or more, depending on what else you grind! The world is almost just about your oyster, but keep in mind that there are some things the market is not a fan of purchasing.

Alternative Methods

  • AFK Drilling in the mines–they are buffed here with nerfed WT unlike other servers.
  • Episode Quest Farming--but it requires a lot of prep (but I did the hard planning for you already!). Also requires other people to sell to.
  • Chaos Feather farming--but it requires alts/fillers and most likely will be less lucrative in the future due to plans of a CF exchange. Also requires other people to sell to.

Ways to NOT grind galder:

  • Regular cards–they are only worth 15-50k a piece on this server (I dare you to try to sell for more. Unless you know they have a certain application i.e. Skull Accessory Quest, Weird Box opening, they will not move). You want to go after Card Mastery cards instead, which are worth 250-500k a piece, with Paula’s Abyss cards going for about 1-2mil each.
  • Selling gift boxes to other players–there is nothing particularly valuable in the level up gift boxes, booster boxes (which a rechargeable one for free can be obtained via Ari’s Exchange instead), or the like that make the boxes themselves a lucrative sell. The most precious items you get from System Mail are things such as the Temper Gem, Elixirs, and Altiverse boxes, which you most likely will use on yourself above selling to other players.
  • Selling items obtainable that patch–chances are, you will get a better price if you save for a few patches (selling the next patch over usually doesn’t sell as well/at all) or near the end of the patch, but not at the beginning or middle.
  • Willy-nilly buying MyShop boxes to sell their pets or equipment–you want to check the items’ temper ranges ahead of time to see if they are valuable. Pets tend to have a poor return-on-investment (ROI) so it’s not advisable to roll for them unless you really want them.
