CoraTO permanently has what is called a pity system or [[Tartarus Pity (Exchange)|Tartarus Pity Exchange]] for '''Koiosu''' and '''Kronos''' thanks to a former epTO event granting this exchange. Basically, we're taking pity on the people who farm these bosses to high levels and still don't get a drop due to RNG! Through this system, you are able to get the legendary boxes for Koiosu and Kronos using the items the boss drops, rather than having to rely purely on good luck to get a box. The legendary boxes can contain any legendary drop from Koiosu and Kronos' respective boxes. | |||
'''Make sure to check which drops you need so you don't accidentally sell them!''' | |||
Once you get a number of these items, you can exchange them with '''King Poppuri''', an NPC who can be found in '''Event Garden - Ceremonia''' for the corresponding box. | |||
For '''Koiosu''', you need x100 of each of these items: One soul of Koiosu, Two soul of Koiosu, Three soul of Koiosu, Four soul of Koiosu, and Five soul of Koiosu. | |||
For '''Kronos''', you need x100 of each of these items: One soul of Kronos, Two soul of Kronos, Three soul of Kronos, Four soul of Kronos, and Five soul of Kronos. | |||

General Info

Bossing is one of the best ways to get good gear in Trickster. The legendary equips that they drop have much better stats than most regular equipment you can use at the same level, though of course eventually higher level regular equipment will overpower it. On top of that, legendary equipment can still be used if you fail in refining it, unlike other equipment that must be repaired before it can be used again. This means there is little risk when refining your legendary equipment, with the drawback being that you still need to repair it to attempt to refine it again.
If you are able to get a full set from bosses, you also get a set bonus, which increases your stats even more (similar to town sets, but better!) What equipment you need to complete a set for this bonus depends on the boss. For example, for Tutankhamen you need a Pharaoh Hat, the Golden Sword, and Golden Lion Shield. For Tenter Lion, you need the Tenter Lion Mane, Tenter Lion Tail Spear, and Tenter Lion Earring. However, the trade-off for all of this power is that the drop rate for these items are very low.
For the Pre-Tartarus/MyView Seal/Original Bosses, it takes between 50-200 defeats to get a single piece of equipment. Add that on top of how long it takes to do the trials, and the cooldown period, it becomes a very long process. Considering how fast it is to level up in CoraTO, it's not worth farming the lower level bosses because you will level out of them so fast with little trouble. But if you want them for your collection or anything like that, you do you!
The Pre-Tartarus/MyView Seal/Original Bosses are the bosses starting at Tutankhamen, and ending with Spicy Dragon. This guide is arranged from the least powerful to most powerful bosses. You can check how many times you defeated them by going into your MyView, and selecting Boss Seals.
CoraTO also has the two extra bosses, Koiosu and Kronos. The drop rates for these bosses are even lower than the other bosses, needing an average of 600+ defeats for Koiosu to get a single drop (without pity). It is undetermined how many defeats it takes to get a drop from Kronos at this time (without pity. You cannot see the amount of times you have defeated Koiosu or Kronos like you can the previous bosses. To battle Koiosu or Kronos, you need to gain access to Tartarus first by completing a quest found after teleporting from Homeless Ian in Megalopolis.
On CoraTO, there is no level cap for bosses (aside from Master Mong), but there are still minimum levels you must be in order to attempt the trials. So, for example, you can be level 300 and kill Tutankhamen, but not level 1 and kill Tenter Lion. (Though, you can bypass the level requirements by using brooms). Brooms are obtainable from Ari’s Exchange, and can be used to skip trials. Using brooms, you also do not have to wait for the cooldown, meaning that you can defeat the bosses many more times in a day than you could by not using Brooms.
Each boss has different trials that you must go through before being able to challenge them. The length to complete these trials can range from 3 minutes to even 30 minutes depending on your luck.
Steps For All Bosses+Tips

Tutankhamen
Required Level: 1 ~ 400
Required Items: Subject's Earrings, and Subject's Mask (Dropped by Seth)
Cooldown: 20 Minutes.
Legendary Drops: Pharaoh Hat, Golden Sword, and Golden Lion Shield.
Video Walkthrough: https://youtu.be/coSc6OTIUps
Route: Paradise -> Desert Field 3 -> Pyramid Dungeon 1 -> Dungeon 3 -> Dungeon 4 -> Dungeon 5 -> Dungeon 6 -> Speak to Bastet to teleport into the trials. She will require the items listed above, but they will not be consumed.
First Trial: Speak to Lieutenant and teleport. You will teleport to a room filled with Scarabs. It is often in the bottom or upper right corner. It will be the only Scarab that agrros, the rest will leave you alone. (There is no need to pick up the seal it drops). There are no penalties for killing the wrong Scarab. Portal back and turn in the quest to Lieutenant.
Second Trial: Speak to Sergeant who will give you a monster quest for x1 Pharaoh's Mimic. Run all the way right down the path. Ignore the other monsters until you reach the end, and then kill the Mimic. Run back, still ignoring the monsters, and speak to Sergeant again, turning in the quest.
Third Trial: Speak to Captain. Then speak to the two mummy NPCs. First, they will give you answers according to the chart below, and depending on what they say will change the answer. The first letter in the row is what they say the key is, and the second letter is what they say the other NPC said. (If the Lieutenant said it is the A key, and says the Sergeant would say it is the A key, it would be AA). After correctly answering the Captain, they will ask you a question regarding the second chart. (If they asked what the Jackal protects, it would be the Stomach). The answers for both of these questions are found below:
| Lieutenant | Sergeant | Answer |
|---|---|---|
| AA | BA | B |
| BA | AA | B |
| BB | AB | A |
| AB | BB | A |
| AA | AA | A |
| Duamutef | Jackal | Stomach |
|---|---|---|
| Hapi | Monkey (Baboon) | Lungs |
| Imsety | Human | Liver |
| Qebehsenuef | Falcon | Intestines |
Fourth Trial: Speak to Bastet. She will ask for 3 Round Bone Seals that are dropped by the three enemies in the same room. Once you defeat them loot the Bone Seals and return to Bastet. She will teleport you to the boss room.

Tombeth
Required Level: 1 ~ 400
Required Items: 1x 500 galder coupon (You can obtain these by doing quests, and drilling in certain maps). You need a drill for these trials. Remember to have enough WT in your inventory for the Philosopher's Stones.
Cooldown: 20 Minutes.
Legendary Drops: Guardian's Soul Helm, Guardian's Soul Staff, and Guardian's Soul Shield.
Video Walkthrough: https://youtu.be/evBwEGWj7rA
Route: Azteca -> Relics Field 4 -> Caballa Relics Dungeon 1 -> Caballa Relics Dungeon 2 -> Caballa Relics Dungeon 3 -> Speak to Rosemary to teleport into the trials. She will require the item listed above, which will be consumed.
First Trial: Speak to the first Explorer Reina that you see. This will start a monster quest for 6x Guard Stone Soldiers. Instead of turning in the quest with the Explorer Reina you received the quest from, follow the path upwards and turn in the quest to the next Explorer Reina that you see.
Second Trial: You will have to dig for Torn Clue 1. If you don't have invincible drilling, or can't take a lot of hits, make sure to clear out the area before you start digging. Turn in this quest at the same Explorer Reina you got the quest from.
Third Trial: You will need to again find another Explorer Reina. From the Explorer Reina you were just at, follow the northeast path. You will find another Explorer Reina who will start a monster quest for 30x Awakened Guiana. To turn in the quest, you will once again need to go to the next Explorer Reina. To find her, go from the Explorer Reina you got the quest from and follow the path downwards.
Fourth Trial: Once again you will have to dig, this time for Torn Clue 2. If you don't have invincible drilling, or can't take a lot of hits, make sure to clear out the area before you start digging.
Fifth Trial: From Explorer Reina (the one you just turned in the quest to), go down from her through the map- it will look like a wall, but you will be able to go through it to the other side. If the path is blocked, try going side to side while running against the wall to find the opening. Speak to the Fortune Teller. She will request 5x Philosopher's Stone, which are dropped by the Awoken Mimic. Find the Mimics by going back to the previous areas. Turn in the quest to the same Fortune Teller.
Please Note: You do not have to wait to get the quest from the Fortune Teller to collect the Philosopher's Stones. You can collect them before meeting her, such as when you are fighting the Guard Stone Soldiers or the Awakened Guina. Save yourself a trip.
Sixth Trial: Go to the last Explorer Reina who is in the middle of the map you've been running around in. Speak to her and she will teleport you to a room. Speak to her again and teleport to reach the room with Guide Sabrina and Keeper Julio. You start this quest in Room 7, and you need to get to Room 5. There are 11 rooms in total. To move to different rooms you will need a Guide Stone. Drill to get a Chaotic Guide Stone, and if monsters have spawned, kill them for Fractal Guide Stones and Brick Guide Stones.
Note: It is possible that no monsters will spawn in the room, so in that case the only way to teleport out is by digging to get a Chaotic Guide Stone.
Brick Guide Stones send you up one level. Chaotic Guide Stones send you somewhere random. A Chaotic Guide Stone with a Fractal Guide Stone will send you 4 rooms up. (To use a Chaotic and Fractal Guide Stone together, you must talk to Keeper Julio).
You will know you are in the right room as there will only be Guide Sabrina. Talk to her, and she will send you to a room with two Indiana Johns. Speak to the left one.
Seventh Trial: Indiana John will teleport you to another room where you have to defeat 2 Tombeth Souls. After defeating them, return to the same Indiana John and turn in the quest. You will be teleported into a new room. Talk to Guide Sabrina who will teleport you to the boss room.

Captain Skull
Required Level: 1 ~ 400
Required Items: 1x Sea Ivory (You can obtain these by drilling in Oops Wharf Maps). You need a drill for these trials.

Video Walkthrough: https://youtu.be/Z5wdhwxmEb8
Route: Oops Wharf-> Oops Wharf Field 4 -> Speak to Card Girl to teleport into the trials. She will require the item listed above, which will be consumed.
First Trial: Talk to Shaman Girl Jia, starting a monster quest for 10x Dread Black Foe. Turn in the quest.
Second Trial: Talk to Card Girl starting a monster quest for 10x Dread Master Foe. Turn in the quest.
Third Trial: Talk to Shaman Girl Jia again. Drill for 5x Love Crystal and then turn in the quest.
Fourth Trial: Talk to Copyfish DomDom who is at the top of the map on the right. He will request 1x Crystallized Sound 1, 1x Crystallized Sound 2, 1x Crystallized Sound 3, and 1x Crystallized Sound 4. To get these, defeat Dread Requi, Dread Quiem, and Dread Crow and pick up their respective items. The monsters are located in boxes around the map, where you will have to go up on the shipping bins and then down into an isolated box. Drill for Crystallized Sound 4. Turn in the quest to the Copyfish DomDom who is on the right side of the map below the NPC you accepted the quest from. He will teleport you to another Copyfish DomDom who will be standing above where you just teleported on a shipping bin. Talk to him.
Note: You can collect these items before talking to the NPC if you want to save time, instead of running back after accepting the quest.
Fifth Trial: You will be teleported to yet another Copyfish DomDom. Talk to him and he will give you the quest to drill for 6x Requiem Mass Candle and 1x Requiem Mass Candelabrum. Please note there are a lot of monsters in this area, so you will want to clear them out before drilling if you don't have invincible drilling or can't take a lot of hits. When you have drilled them all, speak to the Copyfish DomDom you were teleported near to, who will teleport you back so you can turn in the quest.
Sixth Trial: After being teleported back, talk to the Copyfish DomDom in the middle left side of the map standing on a shipping container. He will teleport you and then speak to Copyfish DomDom again. They will start a monster quest for 1x Black Hearted Requi. Turn in the quest by talking to the same NPCs.
Seventh Trial: Go to the Copyfish DomDom on the bottom right side of the map and be teleported again. Talk to Copyfish DomDom who will give you the quest for drilling 1x Requiem Mass Brush and 1x Requiem Mass Sword. Speak to the same NPCs to turn in the quest.
Eighth Trial: Talk to the middle-right Copyfish DomDom who is standing on a bin (they are above the Copyfish DomDom who you just did the quest for) which will start a monster quest for 1x Black Hearted Quiem. Turn it in, and keep talking to the Copyfish DomDoms you spawn by who will keep teleporting you until reaching Shaman Girl Jia. She will teleport you again.
Ninth Trial: Talk to La Vida to start the quest, and talk to her again to turn in the quest.
Tenth Trial: You need to drill 1x G Note, 1x A Note, and 1x F Note. After you have drilled them, in this order, take and turn in the quest for the left Black Pirate Swab, then the middle Black Pirate Swab, and then finally the right Black Pirate Swab. Talk to Vice Captain to get Pirate's Combined Song.
Eleventh Trial: Talk to La Vida who will teleport you to Shaman Girl Jia, who is at the bottom of the map. Talking to her will teleport you to the boss room.

Cooldown: 30 Minutes.

Video Walkthrough: https://youtu.be/G5RjU-1z_6A

Please Note: You will only be able to start the trials at night, meaning 7PM to 6AM ingame time (you can check the ingame time by hovering over the sky icon above the minimap). If you attempt to speak to Werewolf Lycan when you are not in this time window, he will refuse to let you into the trials. (24 hours ingame time is 1 hour real time).
First Trial: Talk to Guardian Kerberos, who will teleport you into a map filled with some aggro and some non-aggro enemies. Just get to the other side of the map and warp.
Second Trial: Talk to Vamp Lydia who will give you a monster quest for 15x Vampire Bats. There will also be other bats with the same sprites in the map. You will have to seek out the Vampire Bats by hovering over their names or pressing Alt to see if they are a true Vampire Bat, or simply use an AoE to kill everything around you. There are no penalties for killing the non-vampire Bats. Turn in the quest and you will be teleported to another map.
Third Trial: Talk to Majordomo Felix who will give you 2 Sudoku puzzles. You can view the Sudoku puzzle by clicking View Issues at the bottom of the dialogue. Make sure to do this first, because if you click ahead to the answers screen, you won't be able to see the puzzle anymore. The answers to all of the puzzles he may give can be found in the attached image. Upon successfully completing the puzzle, he will teleport you to another room.
Fourth Trial: You will now have a gambling option. You can choose to teleport using Vamp Lydia, or Majordomo Felix. Vamp Lydia will teleport you to the red path, and Majordomo Felix will teleport you to the blue path. There is a higher chance that the red path will be the correct option, but it is not guaranteed. Once you teleport, run to the warp portal at the end of the map, and if you chose correctly you will be in the boss room. If you did not choose correctly, you will spawn outside the trials, and will need to re-enter the trials consuming another Lapis Lazuli.

Route: Carbigal -> Swamp Field 4 -> Swamp Field 6 -> Speak to Little Chagan to teleport into the trials. She will require the item listed above, which will be consumed.
First Trial: Talk to Madam Sarah, who will teleport you. Then talk to Frog Shaman who will give you a quest for 8x Tentacles. Turn the quest in to the only Frog Shaman you can reach, and he will teleport you.
Second Trial: Talk to Frog Shaman who will ask you for 6x Dark Necklace (dropped by Dark Shaman). Give them to him and you will be teleported.
Third Trial: Talk to Witch La Befana, who requires 1x Warrior's Water Drop, dropped by Super Cobra Flower. You will spawn in a map with them. Turn it in.

Seventh Trial: Talk to Witch La Befana, who required 2x Water Drop of Strength, dropped by Super Slug G. You will spawn in a map with them. Turn it in.
Eighth Trial: Talk to Witch La Befana, who will request 4x Marble of Fortune. These are dropped by Shadow Mon, who are invisible. You can find them by running your cursor over the map, or by pressing Alt. Alternatively, you can also use AoE skills. Turn in the quest.
Ninth Trial: Talk to Witch La Befana, who will ask you to find, in this order: Pastor Tau, Kristoffer J, Madam Sarah, Warrior Kei, and Swampy Suu. After finding them all, go back and speak to Pastor Tau to be teleported.
Please Note: Where the NPCs spawn in this map is random. They won't necessarily be in the same places they were in a previous run. Once you are close enough to an NPC, you will be able to see the red dot on your minimap, and you can hover over it to see what NPC it is rather than having to run all the way to them. There are 8 places where the NPCs can possibly spawn, and they always spawn on the edges of the map. The can spawn in: The upper right corner, upper middle, upper left corner, middle right corner, middle left corner, lower right corner, lower middle, and lower left corner.
Tenth Trial: Talk to Pastor Tau who will ask for 8x Teleport Scroll: Tenter Lion's Lair which are dropped by Ancient Hero Statue. Be careful, as these enemies have Faint and Banish, meaning they can stun you and then teleport you out of the room if you do not recover in time. As well, the hitboxes for the enemies is rigid as they are on platforms, so sometimes your character will move to them, but will not attack. If this happens, try coming at them in a different direction. (This may not be an issue with ranged characters). Turn it in, and you will be teleported to the boss room.

Queen Odinea
Required Level: 1 ~ 400
Required Items: 1x Bear Fur (You can obtain this by drilling in Blue Ice Dungeon Caves). You need a drill for these trials.
Cooldown: 45 Minutes.

Video Walkthrough: https://youtu.be/dv3aVuZBTCA
Route: Gate of Blue Ice Dungeon -> Ice Dungeon 1 -> Ice Dungeon 2 -> Ice Dungeon 3 -> Speak to General Granada to teleport into the trials. He will require the item listed above, which will be consumed.
First Trial: Talk to Princess Rosetta who will give you a monster quest for 3x Gate Keeper Coolem. Turn in the quest.
Second Trial: Drill up Red Planks, Blue Planks, and Green Planks. To use the Planks you must go to the correct NPC. Red Planks are taken by Freyr. Blue Planks are taken by Niwerth. Green Planks are taken by Freyja. Once you give one of the NPCs a plank, you will be teleported to another part of the map. The goal is to get to General Granada at the end of the map. The three most common methods of getting to General Granada is by using the Planks in the following order:
- Green, Red, Green, and Green.

Tartarus Pity Exchange

CoraTO permanently has what is called a pity system or Tartarus Pity Exchange for Koiosu and Kronos thanks to a former epTO event granting this exchange.
Make sure to check which drops you need so you don't accidentally sell them!
Once you get a number of these items, you can exchange them with King Poppuri, an NPC who can be found in Event Garden - Ceremonia for the corresponding box.
For Koiosu, you need x100 of each of these items: One soul of Koiosu, Two soul of Koiosu, Three soul of Koiosu, Four soul of Koiosu, and Five soul of Koiosu.
For Kronos, you need x100 of each of these items: One soul of Kronos, Two soul of Kronos, Three soul of Kronos, Four soul of Kronos, and Five soul of Kronos.
