General Info
Fading Tower is end-game custom content for exclusive PvP equips. It cycles forward every few patches.
Equips from Fading Tower mirror the real boss sets, with the exception of a rename, having a pet sometimes (with or without attribute/compoundable slots), and the shields. The shields use special compoundable characteristics, with sets such as the Eternal Golden Lion Shield being able to compound any attribute to it, but with the same base stats as the regular Golden Lion Shield.
Each cycle increases the boss set used. The first patched used the Tut set as a base, the second one used the Tombeth set as a base, and so on. The surprise is in the special compoundable characteristic of the equips.
The floors that give "Domain Rewards" or Cora Boss Boxes are 6 and above, however there have been reports of people getting a box on Floor 5 before, and the probably gets higher with every floor you go to.
TLDR Guide
Solo: MQ set of 10 with Hunter Yuri/Yuna. Do all 10 cycles or get a key from the MQ's gacha box reward to advance to the next floor.
Party: PQ set of 2 per person with the harder enemies with Officer Tera. Get a key from the MQ's gacha box reward for every party member.
For both: Teleport with Eclipse using Pink Pot A (Floor 1) or Shards (Floor 2+, drilled in faded tower on the previous floor). One shard/pink pot a is consumed upon every teleport, for every team member. Receive a gacha box for every successful MQ Box potentially contains potions, scrolls, and other goodies and from about floor 5 onwards, you can get a legendary box drop from one of the boxes (more likely the higher you go) that contains a legendary set item, not the whole set. There are 11 floors total.
epTO - History of Meta
Originally, for the first two cycles of Fading Tower, a Luckyfist Guardian or a Luckyfist Hybrid Sense was preferred for this gamemode. During the Dread Fading Tower update in January 2025 revamp, the whole setup was revamped to be specific with weaknesses with each floor to cater to a variety of audiences. Due to outcry, these changes are proposed to be reversed back to the original meta. Since CoraTO's inception, we have changed this setup and quite frankly, I have no idea the full meta anymore per floor. Enjoy.
